    I just needed some cookies today. Plus, there’s nothing to eat here. I keep opening the cupboards and the fridge, and nothing magically appears! I guess it’s time to cook…

    Today’s idea came about because I had a bag of butterscotch chips in the cupboard. Butterscotch chips are often overlooked because chocolate chips get all the attention, like the older brother. Then there’s white chocolate chips — the new kid on the block. The butterscotch chips are right in the middle: delicious, reliable, and a unique flavor. Sometimes I like to make chocolate chip cookies with 1/2 and 1/2 chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.

    Nobody knows how to cook chinese food (except the Chinese) — that’s why we go out to eat chinese! Right? Well, I like chinese food, so why not make it? I’ve learned how to make make sweet & sour chicken (from scratch) and honey sesame chicken (using a spice packet) with fried rice.

    Being a bit of a cinnamon roll connoisseur, I’ve tried to find the best cinnamon rolls. The best place to buy a cinnamon roll: Cinnabon — but the only location here is in the airport! So EVERY time I go on a trip, I have to buy one.

    Now, the best recipe? The following recipe is the best cinnamon roll that I’ve ever tasted. Ever. Let that sink in for a minute. The dough is so soft, and just sweet enough.
